About the imprint
Read When Stoned publishes the kind of book you finish and keep thinking about. Open-minded, curious, a little sideways. Some of our books are about cannabis. Most are about life, and all the strange, funny and true things that happen along the way.
We’re the publishing arm of Spread Media Studios, alongside RWS Films on the screen side and Spread Media on the podcast side. The same voice runs through all of it.

Many of our stories live in more than one form. A Read When Stoned book can become an RWS Films feature or series, and a film can come back as a book. Getting it on the page first is how the universe gets built, and it gives every story a world before it has a budget.
